Born in 2000 in Kayseri, Eren Kasapoğlu moved to Istanbul with his family in 2003 and completed his education there. He was admitted to the Textile Engineering Department at Marmara University, where he quickly adapted to the textile industry, a field that runs in his family.
An active and socially engaged individual, Kasapoğlu served as a board member of his department’s club, Müteks, for three years and as the club president during the pandemic. Under his leadership, the 18-member team made Müteks one of the most active student organizations, earning its first-ever feature in the university’s bulletin. He graduated as the third-ranked student in his class.
During his studies, he completed internships at the ready-to-wear company Blok Moda, polyester yarn manufacturer Polyteks, and the leading retailer Taha Giyim/LC Waikiki.
In his third year at university, Kasapoğlu joined TİHCAD (Textile Exporters and Workers Association) as a member of the Social Responsibility Committee, where he contributed to the committee’s initial projects. Later, he became the chairman of the newly established TİHCAD-Z Committee, which supports Generation Z students and young graduates by connecting them with industry experts and preparing them for the sector. The committee’s notable projects include technical factory visits that provide students with hands-on exposure to machinery and production processes, while also helping them build extensive professional networks.
As a hobby, Kasapoğlu enjoys working on leather craftsmanship at his home-based leather workshop and creating pencil sketches. He is passionate about reading science books and building his personal library. His other interests include mechanical wristwatches and automobiles.
After graduation, Kasapoğlu joined Beymen as a Production Specialist, a role he has held for two years. He is responsible for Accessory Procurement, Ready-to-Wear Leather Production, and the Women’s Woven Collection.
