Provides Competitive Advantage... Efficiency is a Must for Low Cost

TİHCAD President Ergin Aydın participated as a speaker in the Digitalization in Textile and Ready-to-Wear Panel at the 11th SMEs and Productivity Congress held at Istanbul Kültür University.  

In the panel moderated by economist Dr. Can Fuat Gürlesel, Güven Karaca, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Istanbul Leather and Leather Products Exporters' Association (IDMIB), Sanem Dikmen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkish Clothing Manufacturers Association (TGSD), Ergin Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Textile Exporters and Employees Association (TİHCAD), and Sultan Tepe, Board Member of Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association (İTHİB), explained the importance of sustainability and digitalization in textile to university students. 

In his speech, TİHCAD Chairman Ergin Aydın underlined the importance they attach to young people in the work of the Association, gave information about the work of the Generation Z Committee and stated that their doors are always open to university students interested in the sector. Aydın mentioned that they have started to increase the use of artificial intelligence in textiles, especially in pattern studies, and suggested young people to improve themselves in this field.
